If you are job-hunting, this is how NOT to approach your social network for the first time:
❌ Hi XYZ, Please review my (LinkedIn) profile and let me know if I fit for any role in your company.
❌ Hi, Please review my resume. <Attached Resume>
❌ Hi <WrongNameSpelling>, Please ...
❌ Hi,
❌ Hi, I have applied for the position of ABC. Please schedule my interview for tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
❌ Hi, Here is my resume, please forward my resume to your contacts to find me a job.
❌ Copy Pasted Introduction with a resume attached.
etc.
❌Using the words like "Uhh, Okay" or "k". (I simply hate this)
There are many others, but the above ones are very common which I receive all the time.
Here are some of the tips that can give you a good starting point for improvement:
✅Update your LinkedIn profile. This is so important that if you have a profile that is not updated i.e Professional looking DP, Cover, Updated Summary, Updated, and detailed information about your Education and Experience, etc no one is going to take you seriously.
✅Always start by asking about the other. Never start with "I".
✅Review the person's profile before you approach someone. Don't just send a copy-paste 1000 words introduction to someone. No one would love to read a 1000 word biography.
✅Double check if you are taking with a recruiter or someone else. Talk accordingly.
✅Your message should be complete. Don't just write "Hi" or "Hello". The other person might respond to you back maybe after a day. You will waste your time as you may get the required information late.
✅Try not to make a lot of spelling/grammar mistakes. If you are very bad, then install "Grammarly". It will help you a lot.
✅Start reading books that would improve your communication skills.
✅Try to post on LinkedIn at least once a week. I don't like profiles that are completely blank. I want to know about your thoughts, I want to know what kind of posts you do, what kind of technology you are interested in. In fact, I am also interested in what kind of learning you are doing. If you can't figure out what to share, start taking some online courses and each day share your learning and thoughts about what you have learned every day.
There are so many jobs available in the market. Unfortunately, most of the time it is bad communication skills that would simply take the opportunity away from you.
There are no shortcuts. Sometimes you can be lucky, but job hunting is a tedious process. You have to keep learning. You have to learn from your mistakes.

We are looking for Graphic Designers at MRS Technologies / Technology Spirits for the in-house position (Not a Remote job) at our Islamabad Office in Gulberg Green.
Responsibilities:
👉 Create visual elements for Digital marketing across different ad platforms including Facebook, Google, Snap, Tiktok ads.
👉 Use design software such as Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software.
👉 Develop corporate marketing materials including poster boards, banners, corporate booths, newsletters, and advertisements, as well as client outreach and communication products.
👉 Responsible for all graphics production needs, as well as coordinating production tasks with vendors.
👉 Good creative skills/ Creative thinking & a great sense of design
👉 Select colors, images, text style, and layout. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them with the Director.
👉 Design graphics, presentations, design data reports and or infographics, animations, and be able to work/manipulate digital photographs.
👉 Contribute actively to the planning and implementation of the brand management strategy.
Requirements:
✅ Demonstrated skills in using traditional and computer-based design methods and software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (AfterEffects, Premiere, Audition, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
✅ Work independently and effectively; manage multiple tasks, projects, resources and operate comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Strong English speaking and writing skills.
Collaborative work style with the ability to adapt to change, solicit input, influence, and support decision-making.
✅ Understanding of social media analytics for key platforms
Prior proven experience as a social media digital content creator or influencer
✅ Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
✅ Strong analytical skills
✅ Excellent eye for detail
✅ Experience in digital product design and development, especially in an iterative Agile process.
